Featured Product : Dichroic Beam splitter

“Not all Dichroic beam splitters are created equal.”

One should first define the basic specs such as:

Region with high transmission

Region with high reflection/blocking

AOI (typically 45 degrees but also 0 or other angles are possible)

Then the quality of the splitter can give you the other specs or you can demand these. Such as:

Peak transmission (in %)

Blocking (in OD)

Slope (Typically from 5% till 90% of peak)

Damage Threshold

Accuracy in 50% transmission point

So if you compare the specs of the aforementioned splitters you should take in mind all these specs.
